PMT KB Article 2 – 024 - Why does my local currency not appear as a payment option?

Although our goal is to accept all currencies, there may be several government regulations and/or strict capital control restrictions in certain countries. If you do not see your local currency offered, this means we are not authorized to handle your local currency due to regulatory restrictions. If your local currency is not offered, you can simply choose an alternative currency to fund your transaction (such as U.S. dollars). To view your payment options, simply:

  • Enter the amount you are looking to send to your educational institution
  • Select your initiating country (country you are paying from)
  • Of the available options presented, select an option that works best for you
