PMT KB Article 2 – 022 What is the process for a PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit) transaction?

Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) is only available from Canada funding an educational institution in the US. Pre-Authrorized Debit (PAD) can only be executed from TD and CIBC, for all other institutions please use Online Bill Payment. To fund your transaction using a PAD please follow the steps below:

• Complete and sign the 3-page PAD agreement which can be downloaded once you create and confirm your transaction
•  Prepare a void check (A void check can be substituted with a Direct deposit or Pre-Authorized Payment form provided by your financial institution)
•  Email the PAD application and Void check or Direct deposit form or Pre-Authorized payment form, to confirmations@paymytuition.com

Our pre-authorized debit processes will initiate the collection of funds from your designated account within 24 hours of us receiving your application. Please note, it may take up to 72 hours for your school to receive the funds with the pre-authorized debit payment option.
